A new heuristic algorithm for global optimization was proposed by the 2018 IEEE Conference on Evolutionary Computing (CEC). Coyote optimization algorithm (COA) is a natural heuristic meta heuristic algorithm proposed by Juliano pierezan and Leandro dos Santos Coelho (2018) for global optimization, including complete matlab code. Different from gray wolf algorithm, COA algorithm has no hierarchy.
