English Description：
Ever since 9/11 attacks there has been growing emphasis on developing fool proof security systems which are robust and user friendly. Biometric recognition is the task of identifying an individual on the basis of his/her physiological like fingerprint or behavioral traits like voice. All these present day biometric systems based on physiological or behavioral traits are susceptible to spoofing and employ some means of liveness detection. In this paper an overview of an emerging biometric modality based on ECG of person is presented. ECG based
