In mathematical morphology, watershed transform is a powerful tool for image segmentation. Watershed transform segmentation is usually label controlled segmentation. The purpose of this paper includes image enhancement and noise removal technology and new image segmentation method of operator edge detection. The proposed method is compared with the existing methods. The results show that this method can effectively reduce the segmentation effect and achieve more accurate segmentation results than the existing methods.
