giving a kind of Modeling and simulation of Doubly Fed Induction generator (DFIG) coupled with wind turbine; visualising the advantages of the DFIG over other generators it is being used for most of the wind applications; About the different type of characteristics simulated for DFIG; familiarising the user about the work which has been done such as: the transient behaviour, steady state behaviour, load flow analysis, comparison in the real and reactive power control using stator-voltage and stator-flux oriented frames, experimental verification of the dynamic response to voltage sags, small signal stability analysis, comparison between rotor flux oriented reference frame and stator flux oriented vector control.
