The evacuation process modeling and simulation uses cellular automata method to analyze the evacuation problem in public safety. On this basis, a series of basic assumptions are put forward, and the occupant evaluation model is established, and the simulation program is implemented with MATLAB. Through several simulation tests under different initial conditions, the simulation results under different conditions are compared, and some measures to improve safety and evacuation methods in public places are proposed, so as to minimize casualties when disasters occur
