In view of the shortcomings of EMD method, this paper compares soft threshold, hard threshold and various threshold calculation methods, including principal component analysis, factor analysis and Bayesian analysis, including single sideband, double sideband, carrier suppression and quadruple frequency. The cumulative contribution rate method is used to realize the graying of image and further used in video surveillance and control.
