A new concept based on genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed for fragile audio watermarking algorithm. In order to reduce the distortion, the least significant bit (LSB) is replaced, so the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) is increased and the payload is increased. The test results show that in comparison with the common alternative technology and other proposed technologies, the payload is greatly increased and the peak signal-to-noise ratio (as an index of imperceptibility) is dramatically presented.
