A moving object with simple manouvers can be modeled by a Markovian switchingsystem, which describes the normal movement dynamics with a simple Wienerprocess velocity model with low process noise value, and themanouvers with a Wiener process acceleration model with highprocess noise value. In the following we shall refer the former as model 1 and thelatter as the model 2, which could actually also be a velocity model, but we useacceleration model instead to demonstrate how models with different structure areused in this toolbox.
